About US

The Sustainable Community Foundation of Orange County (SCF-OC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life for the residents of Orange County, California. The founding Board of Directors consists of nine community leaders from the centrally located city of Garden Grove, California.

SCF-OC’s initial program is the Garden Grove International Certified Farmer’s Market which has been in operation since August 6, 2006 on Garden Grove’s Historic Main Street. The GGICFM is fully certified by the California Department of Agriculture and features an eclectic mix of healthy, ethnic foods and certified growers of fruits, vegetables, flowers, nuts, and other agricultural products. GGICFM draws upon the diversity of the surrounding community and provides a venue for fresh, affordable, ethnic produce and ready to eat foods.
