GARDEN GROVE
INTERNATIONAL FARMERS’ MARKET

June 15, 2006

Dear International Farmers’ Market Applicant:

On behalf of the Garden Grove International Certified Farmers’ Market (GGIFM), I would like to thank you for your interest in being part of our unique market.

You are a part of a growing trend to meet the demands of consumers who seek healthy, ethnic, and organic foods especially in affluent Orange County, California (See attached SqueezeOC.Com Article). In addition to featuring quality healthy fare, GGIFM will be a community gathering place offering live music and children’s activities such as face painting. In the spirit of the city of Garden Grove’s 50th Anniversary celebration the GGIFM will take place in partnership with the Garden Grove Main Street Merchant’s Association on historic Main Street.

Opening day is Sunday, August 6, 2006. The GGIFM will be open at 12:00 p.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. to the public. However, vendor set up begins at 10:00 a.m. and will not be allowed to move vehicles until approximately 4:30 p.m. In our effort to provide customers a diverse and interesting selection of goods, lot spaces will be selected based on assortment of goods, quality, and availability.

In order to ensure a lot(s) in our Market, please complete the necessary documents and return them to the appropriate organization. Applications will be processed on a first come first serve basis. To ensure that you meet all permit requirements please submit applications by Friday, July 21, 2006. Applications will be accepted after this date but may not be processed in time for opening day.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact SCF-OC at 714) 889-8880. We look forward to seeing you on Main Street.

Sincerely,
Roland H. Chi
